Through the beautiful valley of the Keisie the farm is certainly a hideaway. At the very end of a cull de sac where the farm winds and twists through a deep mountain gorge to the Pietersfontein dam. The dam was constructed by DWAF and holds around two million cubic meters of water. Now this farm is one of the two farms downstream to receive water from this dam. Sometimes the dam is also referred to as “ Katse Dam” but that’s another story.

Farming is done on relatively flat terrain along the alluvial riverbanks with 28 hectares of vineyards and 9 hectares of stone fruit orchards. Water supply from the dam with 30 hectares allocation, with the backup of eight equipped boreholes and a quota of 5 hectares CBR water is like carrying pants with a belt and shoulder straps. The property is extremely isolated and private hence can work for the growing of high value and quarantine produce.

The farm is edged by extreme topography and with the hectares expanding into the mountains the farm can easily be utilized for a combination with eco-tourism. The infrastructure is already in place with three large residences and several labor cottages ideal to convert. The four-bedroom main house with two bathrooms comes with twelve solar panels, two five-kilowatt inverters and batteries included.

There are very few properties where the farm is serviced by such a massively overdesigned water retaining structure let alone one that almost completely benefits from it.
