The story starts at the gated entrance when you drive along the overgrown trail through a perennial river stream as if to say there’s so much more. The path split just after the stream. To the left, between an even more overgrown riverbed of ferns and trees, past an irrigated pastureland disappearing into the unknown. To the right, the path follows up a steep embankment where huge steel gates meet, and one wonders what its all about. Then you meet the old man with the keys.

The old 2 bedroom fixer upper has the most stunning setting. One can really picture the house to it’s full restoration… Outside between the trees a second building was used for chickens, now standing empty.

The drive up the farm is quite a climb and through two more sets of steel gates. What’s behind these gates are nowhere to be seen. On the far end of the property the views are just mind-blowing. Upon our return we were greeted with a spectacle to behold. Never so closely followed, not to mention the backdrop, was a stampede of power and beauty.
